Why is it called Five Guys?
Why is it called Five Guys you may ask?
You have probably been to Five Guys Burgers and Fries
for burgers, hot dogs and fries. The food is great,
but our favorite thing about Five Guys is the peanuts.
It is cool that you can snack on them for free while
waiting, and then simply throw the shells on the floor.
Anyway, why is it called Five Guys? Five Guys was started
by the Murrells back in the 80s. The Murrell family now
has five sons and you might assume that it is called
Five Guys because of the five sons?
Not correct, because they only had four sons when they
started the company. The five guys were originally referred
to as the father and the four sons. However, all five
sons work at Five Guys these days, and we bet the youngest
son is now considering himself as one of the five!
