How Much Sleep Does A 2-Year-Old Toddler Need?




How many hours of sleep does a toddler at the age of 2 years need per day you ask?

We are all different and all answers do not apply to all people. However, according to the National Sleep Foundation, it is recommended that a toddler at age 2 years needs the following amount of sleep per day:

11-14 hours


Maximum Sleep
As many as 15-16 hours of sleep may be appropriate for a 2-Year-old. The Foundation does not recommend more than 16 hours of sleep for a toddler at the age of 2 years.

Minimum Sleep
As few as 9-10 hours of sleep may be appropriate for a 2-Year-old. The Foundation does not recommend less than 9 hours of sleep for a toddler at the age of 2 years.
