Jewish Holidays Year 2020

List of Jewish Holidays and Fasts for Year 2020

Here is a list of all major Jewish holidays and fasts for 2020. Please note that the holidays or fasts actually start at sundown on the previous date and not at midnight. It also ends at the following sundown.

Please also note that if the 2020 Jewish holiday is for more that one day, we list the first day. The Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah) 2020 is a two day event, Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) 2020 lasts for seven days, Hanukkah (Chanukka) 2020 lasts for eight days, Passover (Pesach) 2020 lasts for eight days, and Festivals of Weeks (Shavuot) 2020 lasts for two days. The exception to the rule is that Israel only celebrates Passover for seven days, and Festivals of Weeks for one day.
