Above is a sketch of a young Hawaiian lady
named Kalika. Kalika is from the Island of Maui on Hawaii.
She is a surfer and believes in keeping the Hawaiian
traditions and culture alive for her generation and future generations.
Did Spanish explorer Ruy Lopez de Villalobos discover
Hawaii in the mid 1500s or was British explorer James Cook
the first to discover Hawaii in the late 1700s? We
do not know, but we discovered Hawaii in the 1900s and love it.
