He was a rancher and soldier before he became President of the United States at age 42. His place of primary affiliation was New York.

Theodore Roosevelt became president on Saturday, September 14, 1901 and left the office on Thursday, March 4, 1909. President Theodore Roosevelt was a member of the Republican Party and his vice president was Charles W. Fairbanks.
