When researching the largest cities in Idaho, Research Maniacs used two different criteria for determining the largest city in Idaho.

First, we looked at the population of all major cities in Idaho from the last census and sorted the cities accordingly.

Secondly, we looked at all the city maps in Idaho to find how much land area the cities cover and sorted the cities accordingly.

When we sorted the cities in Idaho by population, we found that Boise is the largest city in Idaho. The five largest cities in Idaho, sorted by population, are Boise, Nampa, Meridian, Idaho Falls, and Pocatello.

When we sorted the cities in Idaho by land area, we also found that Boise is the largest city in Idaho.
