When researching the largest cities in Nevada, Research Maniacs
used two different criteria for determining the largest city in
Nevada.
First, we looked at the population of all major cities in Nevada from the
last census and sorted the cities accordingly.
Secondly, we looked at all the city maps in Nevada to find how much land
area the cities cover and sorted the cities accordingly.
When we sorted the cities in Nevada by population, we found that
Las Vegas is the largest city in Nevada. The five largest cities in Nevada, sorted by population,
are Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Reno, and Sparks.
When we sorted the cities in Nevada by land area, we found that Boulder City is the largest city in Nevada. The two largest cities in
Nevada, sorted by land area, are Boulder City, Carson City, Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas.
