When researching the largest cities in Ohio, Research Maniacs used two different criteria for determining the largest city in Ohio.

First, we looked at the population of all major cities in Ohio from the last census and sorted the cities accordingly.

Secondly, we looked at all the city maps in Ohio to find how much land area the cities cover and sorted the cities accordingly.

When we sorted the cities in Ohio by population, we found that Columbus is the largest city in Ohio. The five largest cities in Ohio, sorted by population, are Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, and Akron.

When we sorted the cities in Ohio by land area, we also found that Columbus is the largest city in Ohio. The four largest cities in Ohio, sorted by land area, are Columbus, Toledo, Cincinnati, and Cleveland.
