What year were women allowed to vote in the United States?

Question: What year were women allowed to vote in the United States?

In Australia, women were allowed to vote in 1902. In Norway, women were allowed to vote in 1913. In Canada, women were allowed to vote in 1917, and then finally in 1920 women were allowed to vote in the United States.

Too bad Susan B. Anthony didn't live to see the day! If Susan B. Anthony lived today, she probably wouldn't want to live in Vatican City - where women still cannot vote!
