How to make a folder on the iPad



To make a folder on an iPad, you must first decide on at least two icons or apps that you want to put into the folder. You cannot have an empty folder on an iPad. To make a folder is very easy! First, press and hold down an icon until it starts to shake like this:



Then drag one icon on top of the other. In our example, we dragged Facebook on top of Twitter and then this screen came up:



As you can see above, we named our folder 'Social'. You can name it whatever you want, and then simply press the home button to get out of the edit mode. That's it! You made a folder. To remove the folder, simply drag all the icons out of the folder.
