Does God take vacations?

In Isaiah 40:28 it says that the Lord is not weary.

In Exodus 31:17 it says that the Lord rested on the seventh day.

Why did he have to rest on the seventh day if he does not get weary? Does this mean that He is never tired, but He does like to rest? What do you think?
