Area: Next, we will calculate the area of a circle if the radius is 7. The formula for the area of a circle is πr2, which means that the area of a circle with a radius of 7 is:
π72 = 153.94
Circumference: Finally, we will calculate the circumference of a circle if the radius is 7. The formula for the circumference of a circle is 2πr, which means that the circumference of a circle with a radius of 7 is:
2π7 = 43.98
Note: π or Pi has an infinite number of decimals. For our calculations on this page with a radius of 7, we used Pi with eleven decimals as 3.14159265358 and then we rounded all our answers to two decimals.
