What grade are you in when you are 5?

Do you know someone who is 5 years old and you wonder what grade they’re in? When you are 5 years old, you are either in the second half of preschool or the first half of kindergarten.

If it is the first half of the calendar year (spring), then a 5 year old is probably in preschool.

If it is the second part of the calendar year (fall), then a 5 year old is probably in kindergarten.
