Why do cats eat grass?

We give our cat dry food, wet food, gourmet food, and expensive treats, but do you know what she prefers? Our cat prefers grass to all those yummy alternatives. So, why do cats eat grass?

Cats eat mice, their own fur, and a wide variety of things we don't really want to know, but all of this may be hard for a cat's digestive system. Eating grass works as laxative and flushes out all the things the cat eats, but does not need.

When cats eat grass, it also triggers them to throw up, which is good, because it helps them get those big fur balls out.

Grass is also good for the cat's blood. Grass creates a protein that creates oxygen in the blood.

We are not sure if our cat knows all the good the grass does, but it looks like it eats it because it really enjoys the taste and texture of eating grass.

In conclusion, cats eat grass because nature has made it attractive to them, because it is good for them.
