What is Chess Resignation?
Information about Chess Resignation
When playing Chess, either player may choose to resign. If you resign in a Chess game, then
the other player becomes the winner. A player usually resigns from a Chess game when he
or she feels that the game cannot be won.
When watching Chess competition, we often feel that competitors give up too fast. Research
Maniacs does not recommend that you give up too early. There may be opportunities that
arise from your opponent's errors or opportunities you have overlooked that become more
apparent as the game goes on.
PS. Although Research Maniacs encourage you to not give up easily, there is a line! To keep
playing when it is obvious you will lose is just rude and bad karma.
