Here is a list of all major Jewish holidays and fasts for 2023.
Please note that the holidays or fasts actually start at sundown
on the previous date and not at midnight. It also ends at the
following sundown.
Please also note that if the 2023 Jewish holiday is for more that one day,
we list the first day. The Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah) 2023 is a two day
event, Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) 2023 lasts for seven days, Hanukkah (Chanukka)
2023 lasts for eight days, Passover (Pesach) 2023 lasts for eight days, and
Festivals of Weeks (Shavuot) 2023 lasts for two days. The exception to the
rule is that Israel only celebrates Passover for seven days, and Festivals
of Weeks for one day.
