Have you ever been to Venice? If so, you probably know the
answer to this question! Anyway, a Gondola is a common form
of transportation in Venice, because of all the water channels.
It is a boat, operated by one person, that moves ONE oar back
and forth to make the boat go forward.
PS. Some may assume that the oar is used to push the gondola
forward. This assumption is wrong, as the waters in Venice
are too deep.
