How many states on Route 66?
Trivia: How many states on Route 66?
U.S. Route 66 was the name of a famous highway that went
from California to Illinois. These days most people
travel I-40 instead, but many parts of Route 66 are
still there with different names. On parts of
the old highway, you may see signs that say "Old Route 66".
Anyway, Route 66 covered the following states:
California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas,
Missouri, and Illinois.
Thus, there were eight states on Route 66.
