Fremont Bridge
Fremont Bridge in Portland, Oregon
Did you know that the Fremont Bridge has two decks? It is a steel tied arch bridge.
It crosses the Willamette River and has the longest main span of any bridge in Oregon. It was named after John Charles Fremont.
It is the second longest tied arch bridge in the world and Caiyuanba Bridge in China is the longest.
The Fremont Bridge is my favorite bridge in Portland, because it is pretty and I like the arch.
