Mill Ends Park

Mill Ends Park in Portland, Oregon

Mill Ends Park is the smallest park in the world. It officially became a park on St. Patrick’s Day in 1976.

Mill Ends Park is located in the median strip of SW Naito Parkway in downtown Portland. It was a hole in the street, but when no light pole came,

Dick Fagan planted flowers there and named it after his column in the newspaper “Mill Ends.” He claims that he saw a leprechaun digging in the hole, and the leprechaun gave him the park. Do you believe that he really saw a leprechaun?
