Waterfront Park
Waterfront Park in Portland, Oregon
On the west shores of the Willamette River you will find Waterfront Park.
The name of the park changed in 1984 to honor former Governor Tom McCall. There is a fountain
that you can play in during the summer. It’s really cold!
One problem on the waterfront is that there are floods in the winter, because it is next to the river. But, floods hardly ever happen.
Waterfront Park is currently the home of the Waterfront Blues Festival.
So come and check out Waterfront Park!
