Christianity Symbol
What is the symbol of Christianity?

What is the symbol of Christianity? The most common symbol of Christianity is the Christian cross, which symbolizes the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

The Christian faith is focused around Jesus, Son of God. Jesus died on the cross so the rest of us could live eternal life, which is why the Christian cross is such an important symbol of Christianity.

The plain cross is most common, but Jesus actually hanging on the cross is also very widespread.

Note that there are also lesser-known symbols of Christianity such as Alpha and Omega, Chi Rho, and Ichthys (fish).
