When researching the largest cities in Colorado, Research Maniacs used two different criteria for determining the largest city in Colorado.

First, we looked at the population of all major cities in Colorado from the last census and sorted the cities accordingly.

Secondly, we looked at all the city maps in Colorado to find how much land area the cities cover and sorted the cities accordingly.

When we sorted the cities in Colorado by population, we found that Denver is the largest city in Colorado. The five largest cities in Colorado, sorted by population, are Denver, Colorado Springs, Aurora, Fort Collins, and Lakewood.

When we sorted the cities in Colorado by land area, we found that Colorado Springs is the largest city in Colorado. The three largest cities in Colorado, sorted by land area, are Colorado Springs, Aurora, and Denver.
