When researching the largest cities in Maryland, Research Maniacs
used two different criteria for determining the largest city in
Maryland.
First, we looked at the population of all major cities in Maryland from the
last census and sorted the cities accordingly.
Secondly, we looked at all the city maps in Maryland to find how much land
area the cities cover and sorted the cities accordingly.
When we sorted the cities in Maryland by population, we found that
Baltimore is the largest city in Maryland. The five largest cities in
Maryland, sorted by population, are Baltimore, Columbia, Germantown, Silver Spring, and Waldorf.
When we sorted the cities in Maryland by land area, we also found that
Baltimore is the largest city in Maryland.
