Secondly, we looked at all the city maps in Rhode Island to find how much land area the cities cover and sorted the cities accordingly.

When we sorted the cities in Rhode Island by population, we found that Providence is the largest city in Rhode Island. The five largest cities in Rhode Island, sorted by population, are Providence, Warwick, Cranston, Pawtucket, and East Providence.

When we sorted the cities in Rhode Island by land area, we also found that Providence is the largest city in Rhode Island.
