When we sorted the cities in Vermont by population, we found that Burlington is the largest city in Vermont. The five largest cities in Vermont, sorted by population, are Burlington, Essex, South Burlington, Colchester, and Rutland.

When we sorted the cities in Vermont by land area, we also found that Burlington is the largest city in Vermont.
