How to take a screenshot on Windows
This is how to take a Windows screenshot!
Here are step-by-step instructions on how to take
a screenshot on a Windows Computer. In other
words, how to capture everything you see on
a Windows PC screen.
1) Press the PrintScreen/SysRq key on your keyboard.
The button is also sometimes called PrtScn/SysRq and
is usually located along the top of the keyboard next
to ScrollLock and PauseBreak. Pressing PrintScreen/SysRQ
will put the captured image into the clipboard.
2) Open an image program such as Paint and then go to
Edit and choose Paste. You should now see the
image for your screen and you can process it any
way you like. Clicking Edit and then Paste works in
many programs such as Word and even in your email program.
Note: If you would rather just have an image of the opened program
instead the entire screen, then press the ALT key while
pressing the PrintScreen/SysRq button and then do step two
as normal.
