"How long do cats carry kittens" or "how long are cats pregnant," you may ask?

A cat is pregnant for about 60 days, sometimes maybe a week more.

An easy way of remembering how long cats carry kittens is that you figure a cat is pregnant for a little more than 9 weeks. Which is easy to remember because humans carry their babies for a little more than 9 months.

Also note that cats are usually able to get pregnant at about 12 months old. Purebred cats such as Siamese cats or Persian cats can be pregnant at as little as 6 months of age.

PS. Like humans, you may want to consider taking her to the doctor (vet) if she is pregnant. Vitamin supplements are recommended.
