Is 55 a good credit score?
Creditworthiness: Is 55 a good credit score?

You or someone you know got a 55 credit score and you are wondering if 55 is a good credit score. In other words, is a person's creditworthiness good if his or her credit score is 55?

First, to put the 55 credit score (FICO) in perspective, credit scores range from 300-850. The higher the number, the better the credit score is.

A 55 credit score is a very low credit score and means bad credit.

55 is NOT a good credit score. Someone with a credit score of 55 will have smaller chances of getting a loan or even a good job compared to people with a higher credit score.
