Here we will list all solar eclipses of 2024. We will also explain what kind they are, what date and time you will see them, and where in the world the solar eclipses of 2024 will be visible. The solar eclipses of 2024 are listed below in chronological order. However, note that some dates may be listed twice. April 8, 2024 - Total Solar Eclipse
Total Solar Eclipse means that the moon completely hides the sun and may make an otherwise sunny day very dark. The total solar eclipse of Monday, April 8, 2024 can be seen in Mexico, Central United States, and East Canada. The total solar eclipse should be visible around 6:18 PM Universal Time. April 8, 2024 - Partial Solar Eclipse
Partial Solar Eclipse means that the moon partially blocks the sun. When some parts of the world are lucky enough to see an annular or total eclipse, other parts may see only a partial eclipse. The partial solar eclipse of Monday, April 8, 2024 can be seen in North America and Central America. The partial solar eclipse should be visible around 6:18 PM Universal Time. October 2, 2024 - Annular Solar Eclipse
Annular Solar Eclipse means that the moon will be right in front of the sun. However, the moon will be so far away from Earth that it cannot cover the entire sun. Therefore, you will see an orange circle around the moon during the annular solar eclipse. The Wednesday, October 2, 2024 annular solar eclipse can be seen in Southern Chile and Southern Argentina. The annular solar eclipse should be visible around 6:46 PM Universal Time. October 2, 2024 - Partial Solar Eclipse
Partial Solar Eclipse means that the moon partially blocks the sun. When some parts of the world are lucky enough to see an annular or total eclipse, other parts may see only a partial eclipse. The partial solar eclipse of Wednesday, October 2, 2024 can be seen in Pacific and Southern South America. The partial solar eclipse should be visible around 6:46 PM Universal Time.
