How is butter made?

Question: How is butter made?

Who does not like butter? Butter is great for spreading on bread, butter is great for cooking, and butter is great for popcorn. BUT how is butter made?

Butter is a dairy product and it is made from milk. To make butter, you take the fattiest part of the milk, aka cream, and churn it (beat it or mix it). This will cause the fat globules to stick together and form a solid mass. You drain this mass, and you are left with butter.

That is basically it. In manufacturing, oil and salt are often added to alter the taste and texture.
