How is cotton candy made?
Question: How is cotton candy made?
You have probably eaten cotton candy while at a fun park, carnival or some
other event. As you ate this sticky tasty treat
you were probably thinking, "How is cotton candy made?"
Cotton candy is made by heating up sugar, water, and syrup to
a high temperature, then it is spun or whisked really fast to form
a cloud of sugar containing mostly air.
Ironically, the first cotton candy machine was invented by a
dentist. Cotton candy can't possibly be good for your teeth?
PS. There is no cotton in cotton candy. In fact, in other parts
of the world it is not even called cotton candy. For example,
in Great Britain they call it Candy Floss.
