Being an animal lover, I just had to stop by the zoo on Saturday to help out.
It didn't matter to me which animal I helped with, so they put me in charge of helping
feed the gorillas. I'd been to the zoo and helped out many times, so I knew what to do.
But I had never fed the gorillas.
They helped show me what to do, and showed me what they ate. I was pleased to find out
that it wasn't something dead. I found out that much of a gorilla's diet includes fruit.
Another portion of their diet includes leaves, seeds and stems. Gorillas can also eat
flowers or small bugs. It really depends on the type of gorilla. Gorillas are omnivores.
I was very happy to work with the gorillas and I learned so much!
