Which states vote by mail?
Question: Which states vote by mail?
There are many advantages for the states to allow people
to send in their votes by mail. It increases voter participation,
it is less expensive for the state, it is less expensive for the
voters, and voters can vote early and at their convenience.
There are currently only two states that conduct their elections
by mail only. The two vote-by-mail states are Oregon and Washington.
There are also many states that allow no-excuse voting by mail in addition
to traditional voting.
We here at Research Maniacs think that all states should follow
Oregon and Washington's lead by allowing its citizens to vote
by mail.
