The USPS follows the same holidays as the Federal Government. If the Federal Government is closed on Chinese New Years, then the USPS and the Post Offices are closed on Chinese New Years.

Chinese New Years is not a Federal Holiday in the United States, therefore, the Post Office is not usually closed on Chinese New Years.

However, the USPS is closed on Sundays. If Chinese New Years is on a Sunday, then the Post Offices of the USPS will be closed.
