When researching the largest cities in Oregon, Research Maniacs
used two different criteria for determining the largest city in
Oregon.
First, we looked at the population of all major cities in Oregon from the
last census and sorted the cities accordingly.
Secondly, we looked at all the city maps in Oregon to find how much land
area the cities cover and sorted the cities accordingly.
When we sorted the cities in Oregon by population, we found that
Portland is the largest city in Oregon. The five largest cities in
Oregon, sorted by population, are Portland, Eugene, Salem, Gresham, and Hillsboro.
When we sorted the cities in Oregon by land area, we also found that
Portland is the largest city in Oregon.
