You turn and twist your iPad but the screen does
not turn accordingly. It looks like your screen
is frozen and you have to use your app sideways.
Do not worry. It is an easy fix.
Your iPad screen probably does not rotate because you
set the button not to rotate. Locate the Lock Rotate
button from the diagram on top right of this page and make
sure the button is in the top position. You should not
see the red dot.
Note: A few apps only work in landscape mode or portrait
mode. Since they only work one way, that may be why
it appears as if your iPad is not rotating. The app you
are using simply does not allow for rotation.
